Terms of use
No server
Voice, video, screen, messages and files don't pass through a server; they flow directly through the host in the room.
Only for connecting
While the connection is being set up, public servers are briefly contacted only for an encrypted handshake and an outside-address lookup.
No tracking
No account, no tracking, no recording.
The host can see the traffic in the room and knows your IP address. Share the link only with people you trust.
Service
meet44 is software for setting up direct calls between browsers. It is provided as is; there is no guarantee that a connection can be made on every network.
Rules of use
You may not share unlawful content, harass others, or record people without their permission. Any kind of exploitation of minors is strictly forbidden. To make calls in your country you must be at least 16 years old.
No moderation
meet44 cannot see, moderate or recover chats. The host enforces the rules in the room. If you encounter anything illegal, contact the competent authorities.
Host's responsibility
The host can see the traffic in the room and knows the IP addresses. Share the link only with people you trust.
Widget and subscription
On the free plan, 2 people can talk in a widget room; each extra person is 9 USD per month, up to 20 people. The subscription renews through Stripe and can be cancelled from your account. The limit is a technical limit enforced in the visitor's browser. The site owner is responsible for the calls on their own site and for informing their visitors.
